image1Sandy Phetsany is a native of San Diego, CA. The things she loves include, but are not limited to: God, being a mother, my Golden Retriever, and connecting with others. She is also a US Army Veteran. Sandy enjoys embracing and living the organic, healthy, holistic, compassion-filled lifestyle because it nourishes the mind, body and soul. Her heart and spirit thrives in the love and presence of God where she finds life, inspiration, strength, serenity and empowerment that makes her resilient daily.

Yoga has been a part of her life for over 8 years now and she truly loves it. Her practice has made her stronger mentally, spiritually and physically through all seasons of her life. It has helped her learn about the importance of mindfulness, self-love, patience, compassion, gratitude, peace and balance. Being a first-time-Mommy, Sandy believes it is so important to embrace these values in order to dive into deeper happiness and experience true healing. There is so much beauty in this lifestyle and the power of the breath.

Sandy truly adores and loves children and believes they are such an amazing gift from God. Their pure hearts, their innocent, inquisitive minds and explorative ways, along with their radiant energy revives the soul and reminds her to pause, return to a place of solitude, and to enjoy life in the moment. She has always enjoyed learning about child development, but it was when she became a Mommy that she was truly able to practice and strive for an authentic life that supports enhancing and promoting positive emotions, attunement, secure attachment, growth and happiness. Sandy  believes in the power of unity and love.

Madie Thomas

Madie Thomas was born in Washington state but has been in San Diego since she was 8 so Madie would like to say she’s basically a native. Madie has been working with children since she was 13 helping out in the church nursery and babysitting kids in the neighborhood. She is currently attending Grossmont College for child development and just graduated 200 hours of the yoga teacher training at Natures Whisper School of Yoga. Madie is also working as a preschool teacher but hopes to start teaching yoga to children to help them understand the importance of themselves, breath and movement in their own bodies to help them learn about not only themselves but the world around them. Working with children has become a great passion of hers and she hopes to help change the lives of these little ones because they are the ones that we will be leaving the world with.

Ivorie Wetzel - I am a certified Nutritional Therapist, Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, a mommy and Kids Space Provider at Nature’s Whisper Yoga. My mission in life is to empower others. I have been around the birthing community for the last 10 years but only have been working as a doula for the last year.  With a touch realism, and a sprinkle of spirituality anything is possible. Until we meet, with love.

IMG_5671Eric Applegarth found yoga over four years ago in San Francisco. Life took a turn for the best as he was sprung in to a lifestyle of happy and healthy living. The passion and drive to become his best self was so consuming that he knew this feeling should be shared with everyone. He figured out that everyone is capable of authentic connection, and he was excited to be a part of that. Eric is 300 hour certified, specializing in hatha and prenatal yoga. His alignment focused classes and warm spirit will uplift and revitalize. His intention is to provide friendship, guidance, stability, and strength to both the physical and emotional realms of the human experience. Come share your practice and connect with your best self.

You can also find Eric in the studio as our asst. studio manager and on the mat teaching yoga.
